[mythtv-users] wanted a low bandwidth stream from myth

Are the recordings from dvd or analogue ?

The reason I ask it I tried to do all this on dvb recordings using vlc
server, but vlc server wont play ball with dvb mythtv recordings as no
audio is streamed...only video.

so this stopped streaming for my via any solution, as most solutions use
vlc server.

vlc client works fine.
analogue should also be ok with vlc server but I haven't tried it
myself.

thought this may save you some time.
wold be great to hear back that you got dvb mpg mythtv files working ok
with vlc server, if you can.
