A split system is not really an option at this time. Only one location
with the cable connection, at the tv set and this is a rental property
so no chance to change things around. Plus the new mobo has already been
through the wife approval process. :)
The current setup will barely play a couple of the HD channels and does
a fair job on the rest but there are stability issues in that the video
is jittery at times and nothing I have tried will improve it beyond its
current performance level. The system first thinks the video is too slow
and drops frames then milliseconds later thinks the video is too fast
and doubles frames in a noticeable cycle.
