[mythtv-users] Audio Sync problem -- need help

David,

You suggested I make sure my HD is configured to use it's maximum transfer speed, but I don't know how to do that.

I looked at dmesg, /var/log/messages, hdparm and smartctl, but the two commands don't seem to provide that kind of information and the two logs seem like they're only reporting what is possible, not what is set.

How do you check?
