I also run 64-bit on all of my 64-bit hardware.  With respect to MythTV,
there are no issues at all.  One of then has an nVidia card for HD and it
also works fine.

You paid for a 64-bit processor and motherboard.  Might as well use it. 
You can't really migrate between 32 and 64-bit without reinstalling the
OS.
