[mythtv-users] music during Slideshow

I would like to be able to play some music during slideshows in Myth  
Gallery.

I see there is a remark on that at
   http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Feature_Wishlist_ 
(Plugin_Addons)#MythGallery	
what does that mean?
Is someone already working on that, or is this just a collection of  
nice ideas?
Is there any estimate when such an issue is available?

Please don't get me wrong, I understand this is Open Source and I  
could just do it myself (at least in theory;). I am new to MythTV and  
am just trying to get an understanding of the community process and  
progress towards an even better program. I am already quite happy  
with what I got (considering I can now use my old notebook instead of  
buying a Mac mini;)
