I've had the same problem with the same card.  I upgraded from 2.6.18.5
to 2.6.21.1, and suddenly DVB recordings failed.  I was also unable to
watch with mplayer directly.  Myth was reporting a signal strength of
38% on a channel that normally records perfectly (QAM HDTV).  I manually
updated the database to change the minimum threshold from 50 to 20, but
that made no difference.

I think something is broken beyond just the signal strength.

I would be interested in hearing what the most recent working kernel is.

More importantly, has this been discussed on the DVB lists?  I assume
that's the appropriate place, as this doesn't seem to be Myth-specific.
