Perhaps I missed this part, but what is the source for your firewire
HD? Could it be that the over-the-air (OTA) HD broadcast that you are
getting from your local stations is different than the HD you are
getting from your firewire source (I'm going to guess that it is a
cable/satellite set top box)?
