With hardware accelerated H.264 playback, it makes perfect sense.  They 
don't need CPU to do it when it is all done in hardware.  This is just 
like my Athlon 1800 on Windows combined with Nvidia's PureVideo DVD 
software can do perfect HD playback but without it just falls on it's face.
