[mythtv-users] AMD64 3000+ MythDora watching HD causes Lag andsystem crash?

So, an update on my progress:

Where do I enable this "XVMC" setting? I've scavanged through all the menus
with nothing to be found... (or I'm not looking well enough ;)

Doing those changes on sound didn't do anything. I can although get sound
outside of mythdora, because the 'fedora' part of mythdora is using the
nVidia soundcard (the built-in one on my mobo). I have a feeling that Myth
isn't detecting this 'card' and won't use it.... or it's attempting to use
the 'soundcard' on the pcHDTV 5500 card..? Any other ideas?

That xorg.conf file I'm not sure changed anything? It appears to me that
linux isn't really reading this file; it's using the settings you put into
gnome's "Screen Resolution" under System>>Preferences>>Screen Resoluion.

Answer to my HDMI cable issue: It seems that the videocard will autodetect
the TV's "native" resolution, 1280x720... although this is outside the
bounds of the screen (maybe a refresh rate issue?)

Thanks!
Jonathan S.

Have you enabled XVMC? This should help on the lagging of video but
not sure why your filling up all of your disk space.

setup?
