Well, I don't know if this is useful to you, since my FE is VIA based (EPIA
EN12000EG), and uses the onboard unichrome chipset, but:
Xorg 7.0.0
800x600
Fedora Core 5
VM800 chipset (vt1625 TV encoder)
Xorg builtin driver
21% CPU utilization by mythfrontend
bob deinterlacing
no opengl vsync
"use gui size..." disabled
Result, flawless SD playback with no framedrops or stuttering. I was having
some audio sync issues, but enabling "use video as timebase" or whatever
it's called resolved those problems.
