Hi List,

I am converting my system from Fedora 5 to Fedora 7 and the only problem that
I have encountered so far is that the LVM from the old system causes.

EXT3-fs error (device dm-2): ext3_get_inode_loc: unable to read inode block -
inode=16793711, block=33587205
attempt to access beyond end of device
sdb: rw=32, want=268698095, limit=66055248

errors

and when I list the files in the mounted dir it lists them as

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1130244096 2006-12-17 21:54
1086_20061217212500.mpg
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 37946 2006-12-29 17:16

-????????? ? ? ? ? ?
1086_20070102113000.mpg
-????????? ? ? ? ? ?

Some are readable and some not

Is there a way to convert the older LVM to a newer version or am I going to
have to format the drive and start from there ??

I read that the new LVM saves some space at the end of the disc and the older
didn't. So I guess that there isn't a way to convert, but I am hopefull.

This is important as the old LVM drive contains my recordings and at present I
dont have anywhere else to copy them.

Any help appreciated.

Regards
