Well from what you say it's not the CPU, the HDD or the RAM, so the MoBo
is certainly a possibility.

So is everything else that has not been eliminated as the problem
though, things like the power supply.

Very often going into the case of a working machine results in "finger
drift", so check cables, card seating, motherboard not shorting to the
case etc.

Also check all the BIOS setup parameters on your mobo.

If you can boot and run memtest you can't have TOO much wrong, at least
you are getting though POST without errors.
