The daily builds support up to the SVN version of mythTV (well, at
least up to protocol version 34.  I'm sure a patch will be in soon for
35, although the change didn't look too significant).

Yes, the project is still in active development.  There is lots of
activity on the mailing lists, even if not on the site.
