[mythtv-users] Any have an xorg.conf for NVIDIA that uses aspecial ModeLine?

This is something that confuses me to no end.  What I don't understand is 
that, if this is so specific to the display, what on earth are commercial 
DVRs and digital receivers etc doing that they can be connected to anything 
at all?

I'm not saying you're wrong mind you, but this is one thing I've yet to 
understand.
