TvTime takes the input from the sound card and pipes it straight out again 
using one set of mixer channels; MythTV, OTOH, must *RECORD* the sound card's 
input and then play it back again, which uses a different set of mixer 
channels. Thus, the fact that the sound works in TvTime, although a good 
indication that the physical cabling may be correct, tells you nothing about 
whether your mixer configuration is correct for MythTV use. This is what's

Follow the directions there and if it still doesn't work, post back with 
details of what happened.
