I wonder if it's JFS related... My system got IO-stuck again over the
weekend, I logged in and found pdflush as well as a number of other
processes stuck in the D state, but no kernel messages to indicate
why. My mythtv system is the only system I have (or administer)
running JFS. Unfortunately, I didn't try pressing Alt-SysRq-S more
than a couple times before I reset the machine. I am tempted to
migrate to ext3 now that mythtv can delete large files from ext3
gracefully.
