I set gpgcheck=0, reran the install and got the error again. This time, I
captured it (see below). After rereading it, it doesn't seem like a
checksum error after all. Do I need to uninstall something? I'm not sure
how to interpret this error. Any help is appreciated.

Did all MythTV packages install, despite the checksum errors? You
could disable checksum verification temporarily in your yum.conf file
and see whether the installation proceeds normally. The mc.sql could
well be missing due to a failed checksum stopping its source package
from being installed.
