[mythtv-users] Permanent Audio Sync Delay

Due to the processing in my HDTV, my audio is always about 30ms to 40ms behind my TV.  I know that Myth has an audio delay feature, but that is only a temporary delay that resets after each recording.  Is there any Myth/ALSA/Linux method of setting a general 30ms for all sound?
