I would guess it's rejecting your modes because your timing ranges are
too tight.  Try 59 - 61 for VertRefresh.  Somewhere in the xorg log file
will be more info about why each mode is rejected -- try pulling it into
an editor and searching.

Also keep in mind that (assuming you're in the US), at least until the
full digital switchover in 2008, you'd be better off aiming for a 59.94
Hz refresh rate (which is what NTSC uses, and what ATSC is using until
then so as not to cause beat frequencies).
