Which linux are you running? Most have rpm's already packaged and will auto
install dependencies, then all you need to do is choose the plugins. I use
mandriva and 'urpmi mythtv-frontend' is all I needed to do.
What ever you decide you will need libmyth, mythtv and mythtv-frontend. Be
sure to use the IP address of the backend host, make sure 'skip-networking'
is turned off on the host in mysql config file (the default is on), delete it
or # .
