Great link, and damn those are some fancy cases! Honestly, after
having setup my Norco rack mount case, I can't see myself ever wanting
a "traditional" style case as a server. I would love a 3U 12 bay norco
case capable of housing a mATX motherboard and power supply with a
single system drive in the back section.

Or just replace the fans with quieter ones...

My Norco has decent room between drives for cooling, and I have
thought about replacing the fans in the case with slower quieter ones
since I agree, you don't need that much air flow in the case when it
is in a cool room to begin with (and mine sits by a window, so in the
winter its the coolest area of the room, and its also right under the
A/C vent for summer time). I guess I really should replace all the
fans in all my systems with slower quieter fans....

Something like that is another option! I like those 5.25 to 3.5
converters, what a great idea!
$350 Case
$720 =$120x6 SATA Bay
-------
$1070 for 30 drives = $36/drive
the SATA Norco case is $66/drive thats almost half the price!
