Yeah, I have no issues with the receiver, so it sounds like something is
interfering with it.  Also, I found the receiver will work with just about
any remote.  I actually redid my lircd.conf to use my directv remote instead
of the Streamzap one -- StreamZap didn't have enough buttons ;)
