[mythtv-users] Mythtvosd freeze

On one of my frontends, the screen freezes when I broadcast a message to it
via mythtvosd.  Audio continues to play while the video is frozen.  If I
press Pause, mythtvosd is able to scroll the message. If I unpause, the
scrolling messages stops.  Anybody have any ideas what is causing this?
