I have to concur. I have a D-link DGL-3420

It works great, and would probably work even better for you with your
D-Link router. I picked it up at Fry's for $50.

I tried to find one with a chipset that was compatible with Linux. It
seemed impossible...I would like to help encourage the hardware
manufacturers to use Linux friendly chipsets by buying one, but they
need to advertise that their card works natively in Linux!

Your other option is to use any card that works with "ndiswrapper" (lots
do). Basically, it let Linux use the Windows driver for a wireless
card. My problem with ndiswrapper was that in order to use it on 64 bit
Linux distribution you have to use a 64 bit Windows driver (which none
was ever written the wireless card I had).
