[mythtv-users] Slowdown in transcode in 20.2 ?

As part of my move to SD i pulled in a fresh svn of the 20-fixes  
branch ("At revision 14359.") and rebuilt mythtv and mythtvplugsins.   
Everything seems to work perfectly (mythfilldatabase grabs from SD)  
but my transcoding speed has plummeted!  Before the "upgrade" I was  
getting 45-50fps transcoding -- now I'm getting around 4.5fps.   
Anybody else seeing this behavior?
