[mythtv-users] Dual Core or Dual CPU??

For my new setup for a Mythtv backend server I have found this board:

N5M2AA-KRS2H from Foxconn/Winfast

This board has 4 PCI slots, 2 PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16
and it has 4 SATA ports and 2 IDE ports, 4 DDR2 slots and onboard Gbit
LAN (Realtek 811..)

I intend to put this CPU on it:

AMD Athlon™ X2 BE-2350

This CPU consumes, even though it is dual-core, at most 45 Watts and
with the proper tools it should do a lot less when idling.

Although I am usually a fan of Intel and Gigabyte motherboards it is
hard to find any motherboard these days with more than 2 PCI slots. The
only minor on the Foxconn board is that it does not have onboard VGA
which would be nice. I intend to put in a low power PCIe card.

Looks like an ideal motherboard for a more complex setup (2x PVR500, 1x
Satellitecard and hopefully a DVB-C with CI for digital cable from
@home, probably a Twinhan card) I guess this system will have more than
enough power to transcode and be a general file server and MythTV
backend for two homes.

Gert

P.S. does anybody know if the PVR500 has any kind of power management ?
