Can you create two tickets? One for adding the vendor id for
your recorder to MythTV and another with the patch (which wasn't
attached to your e-mail for some reason.) I can apply the vendor
patch right away, but I may need to wait for jwestfall to look
at the power code before it gets committed. Tickets will help
with the tracking of the problems + fixes.
