Hmm, seems to be taking one step forwards and two back now :)

The EPG now looks spot on as far as the channels I want are concerned.
Snag is there
is no channel data associated with the channels now, everything is unknown.

Now when I run :-
su mythtv -c mythfilldatabase
 it does not seem to collect any channel data, I see the following
towards the end:-

channel the-hits.emap.com mentioned in
/home/mythtv/.mythtv/uk_rt.xmltv but not on site
channel ukbrightideas.tv mentioned in /home/mythtv/.mythtv/uk_rt.xmltv
but not on site
channel ukhistory.tv mentioned in /home/mythtv/.mythtv/uk_rt.xmltv but
not on site
