I believe that the jointenna is a frequency-specific combiner, not
an antenna in itself. It would be appropriate to use if you have one
antenna pointed at a single station, and another antenna pointed
at (or rotated to) additional stations. (I was unable to find a picture
of the product to verify my suspicion)

The question is still open as to how to build ones self a single-
channel antenna.
