[mythtv-users] Been a while - New hardware, should I reinstall?

To add to this, I guess I should probably ask the following (WARNING:
Noobness exposure incoming).

I am aware of several "branches" of MythTV including a "Fixes" branch that I
should probably be using, given it's pulling anything fixed and verified out
of trunk.

That said, I'm using RedHat and RPMs to keep MythTV updated (as mentioned
below) out of Axel's repository.  There are updates comming down the pipe
for the MythTV packages, are these including the "fixes" branch of code or
is fixes only available if you're doing a "roll your own" compilation?

I'm really sorry for the noob question btw.
