Actually, I did a slow upgrade over the past two weeks. Did a test
server (my backup server) first as a proof of concept, then did all of
the FE's first, then finally took the plunge this past weekend to
upgrade the BE.

And the only reason I really upgraded was to stay within the "supported"
window for Axel's RPMs (he stated he only supports the two latest FC
releases, and if FC7 comes out, he would only support FC5 rpms for a few
months.. so it was just a matter of time).

Anyhow, all of that aside, I just removed them all and re-added them. I
can view them individually just fine (Watch TV, change inputs, etc). I
did find one clincher of a problem, though. For some reason, my
on-board serial port was no longer talking to the set-top-box via my
directv channel changer script. No matter what I did, it wouldn't talk
to it. I had to dig to find a spare USB-to-Serial port adapter to get
it to work (now my X10 stuff won't work in the house, but I can remedy
that by picking up another USB-to-Serial port adapter).

Despite all of that, I am still seeing:
2007-04-24 00:08:52.971 TVRec(3): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
2007-04-24 00:08:52.975 TVRec(3) Error: Start channel invalid, setting

However, I just confirmed that all three PVR-150's are recording
properly, via schedules (I scheduled three 10 minutes overlapping
tests). That makes me feel a little better. I wonder if the failures
were because card 1's channel changer script was generating an error
because it couldn't communicate to the set top box. All of the failed
recordings were on "cardid 1, sourceid 1", and that was the one which
was having problems with the serial port.
