[mythtv-users] Filldatabase cron job necessary?

Is there anything that needs to be setup in the backend for it to control
the fill? If so where?

If it is automatic, it would seem that a cron job would be completely
redundant.

you can do it from a cron job or the backend can run it when it needs to.
The later being a better way of running it because it works around you
recordings.

When I set up my myth box I created a daily filldatebase cron job. Was this
needed? I'm getting the feeling that the backend is initiating a
filldatabase job because some times mythweb status shows the last fill run
time different from my cron job time.

Thanks,
Jon
