Thanks for all the posts and suggestions. I installed Kubuntu but wanted to also try some of the others. Since my system boots X automatically, I believe that is what happening when I get prompted for a password, how can I change which desktop I log into? If I install Gnome how will it know I want to log into it? Thanks,
