MythTV 0.20 supports custom recording searches. (Called power search I
think.) Using that you can customize the query that gets run to schedule
recordings. One flag that might help in your situation (or maybe not) is the
"not previously aired" flag. (Can't recall the exact name off the top of my
head.) The custom recording capabilities alone are worth any upgrade pain
for going to 0.20 IMO.
