I think the problem is somehow connected to the CI+CAM giving a delay
which Myth cannot cope with. Unfortunately all channels are encrypted on
my cablenetwork, so I need the CI.

Setting a delay is also possible with 0.19 but it doesn't solve the
problem. When it fails it gives the following message in frontend
2006-09-17 14:11:34.349 NVP: Prebuffer wait timed out 10 times.
2006-09-17 14:11:34.509
RingBuf(/mnt/store/mythtv/recordings//2512_20060917141128.mpg): Invalid
file (fd 16) when opening
'/mnt/store/mythtv/recordings//2512_20060917141128.mpg'. 2 retries
remaining.
The buffering to the file hasn't started and is never going to anymore.
I need to find out how to increase the backend logging to find out what
is exactly going wrong.

I'm using kernel 2.6.17, but with experimental dvb-drivers, because the
stock-drivers won't work with the CI+CAM yet. For reference this is my
relevant lsmod output:
tda10021 5316 1
budget_av 16320 0
dvb_pll 11332 1 budget_av
saa7146_vv 38336 1 budget_av
video_buf 17988 1 saa7146_vv
videodev 20928 1 saa7146_vv
v4l1_compat 11460 2 saa7146_vv,videodev
v4l2_common 18432 2 saa7146_vv,videodev
budget_core 7684 1 budget_av
dvb_core 66216 2 budget_av,budget_core
saa7146 13000 3 budget_av,saa7146_vv,budget_core
ttpci_eeprom 1920 1 budget_core
