Bellow is what I found in my channels.conf. It seems to be missing KQED
and others. I didn't actually use this when setting up my system.
Instead, I selected the channels I wanted in my Zap2it account and let
MythTV do all the heavy lifting.
As far as antenna tuning, I used the frequencies listed on
antennaweb.org with dtvsignal. Typically, I will take the weakest signal
and tune for that. That usually works for everything else. A bit of a
pain to constantly toggle between frequencies, but I found this is the
best way to do any fine tuning.
If you are up on the peninsula, things may be trickier, as the San Jose
stations are in a completely different direction than the San Francisco
stations. (Practically a right angle depending on your location.)
Use the antennaweb street map to get a feel for what direction to point
things (a cheap compass can help too).
