Pop in a disk and then type "mount"
You may see it listed in that. If not, write back to
the list as you
have another issue.

Yes it does, and it plays. This only happens when I
try to play dvd's. I just tried a music cd and it
Here is what I see when I type mount with a dvd in the
/dev/hda2 on / type ext3 (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
/dev/hda1 on /boot type ext3 (rw)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/dev/hda5 on /mythpvr type xfs (rw)
none on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw)
sunrpc on /var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs type rpc_pipefs (rw)
automount(pid2266) on /net type autofs
I see the same when I try to play a music cd. I don't
see /dev/hdc in that list.
