I like the Harmony remote (I use an 880 I think). It works perfectly
with my pvr-350 receiver (there is even a program setup for it on the
harmony site), and with simple one-press action, it will turn on my
tv, switch the input to myth, switch my receiver to myth, and volume
controls go to receiver while everything else is piped to myth. There
are also several custom keys I have setup in the LCD screen to switch
to music, videos, recordings, and a reset the mythprocess (via
gdm-reset).

I have not looked into WOL, or any of those other feautres, but they
may be possible as well. If you check slickdeals, you can typically
find one for around $100 (yes pricey, but worth it for me), with
rebates every month or so.

The best part is it is very guest friendly. My old remotes you would
have to switch what it is controlling, and my guests would always
screw things up. No more with this!
