Distro questions almost always resolve into "go with what you know". Myth can
be complex, and hunting problems down is easier when you already understand
the intricacies and idiosynchrocies of the distro.

It also depends on you. Are you a tinkerer? Do you want it to just work? Would
you like to run SVN? Are they dedicated backend/frontends? And finally, what
are your hardware details?

I run well supported digital tuners on SUSE 10.1 using packages from the
additional repository, packman. This backend is also my main desktop, and
since I switched to it, it's been very good, and reliable. (I came from
self-compiled 0.18 on SUSE 9.3, which was very good for my first year of
MythTV) Admittedly the new 0.20 has only been up ~14 days, but so far I'm
pleased.
