[mythtv-users] "service lm_sensors start" - returns nothing

Thanks Jack! I had found that last night, and ran it. Got "Sorry, no
sensors were detected." so I thought I'd try again this AM.
lm-sensors.org said a couple of things. First, make sure that I use the
latest sensors-detect script, so I downloaded that and used that, same
results.
Also, checking for existence of /dev/i2c*, which I have 5 entries for, -0
through -4.

??

don't know if the sensors init script does the initial setup or not. I
always
manually set lm_sensors up first.

as root:
sensors-detect
take the defaults. When it's done, it will tell you what lines to add to
your
/etc/rc.d/rc.local file and what lines to add to your /etc/modprobe.conf
file.
Once those files are updated and run, sensors should start working.
