[mythtv-users] jobs queuing, not running

My jobs, mythcomflag, transcode, user job#1, user job#2, etc
all just queue. They don't run on my backend or my box where
I'm running: mythjobqueue

The backend log ( via mythweb ) just shows:
Finished recording for a recording nothing about the comflag
stuff.

The queue just keeps growing...

what am I missing?

This is a 0.20 system.
