[mythtv-users] flashing/flickering on playback after pause

Just for the record: I don't think what is being described now in this
thread is the same thing that I am seeing. I do have an NVidia 5500
card, but in my case, the flashing ONLY occurs immediately after a
pause, rewind, or fast forward. Otherwise my playback is good, including
HD. When the flashing happens, I can eliminate it by hitting ESC, saving
the position, exiting to the Watch Recordings menu, then hit OK to
restart. After that it plays fine (until the next pause, ff, or rew). I
can jump ahead or skip commercials fine as well. Every once in a while
(maybe one time in 10), I can do the pause/ff/rew without the flashing
happening, but it happens nearly every time I use pause/ff/rew and never
otherwise.
