[mythtv-users] How do I get rid of old encoders

I have four encoders showing up under mythweb backend status.

Encoder 1 is remote on ppp-xxx-xxx-xxx-236.dsl.applwi.ameritech.net
(currently not connected).
Encoder 2 is remote on ppp-xxx-xxx-xxx-172.dsl.applwi.ameritech.net
(currently not connected).
Encoder 3 is remote on xxx-xxx-xxx (currently not connected).
Encoder 4 is local on xxx and is not recording.

How do I get rid of the three remote ones?  I checked in mythtvsetup
and I have only one encoder.

I see two sets of channels (i.e. 1009 & 2009) when I do a search under
mythweb.  I think the extra encoders might be causing the extra
channels.
