[mythtv-users] stutter after channel change until pause/skip

After changing channels, pause or seek (yes, I know you already said 
that, but it's still my suggestion) or get out your gdb, gcc, and source 
code and start hacking.

OK, one more suggestion that works (and works /extremely well/ for me):  
don't use LiveTV.
