One word (well, two): remote control. For example, there's a great
program for the Nokia 770 called Media Streamer that can control UPnP
servers and renderers, hook one up to another, and play media files
with a nice GUI on the hand held. Blows away any remote for that
particular function...
Most of the functionality exists through the telnet control interface,
it's just that it's not using a standard protocol...
