[mythtv-users] Way OT, but a quick question about mencoder

I'm using a separate machine to do transcodes from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4  
(Myth box is too slow). I notice that mencoder is only using one CPU  
of a dual-core chip.

I don't mind doing the research to make mencoder use both CPUs, but I  
don't want to waste my time if it is not possible.

Anyone know if mencoder is capable of multi-threading. The system is  
capable of it (SMP kernel, proper libs etc) ??

Just thought somebody might know offhand.
