It's quite possible their algorithm is fine, but Myth is adjusting the 
suggested time base on your preferences.  If the suggested download time 
is greater than your configured number of days between mfdb runs, Myth 
uses the time suggested, but subtracts days to make sure it runs within 
the number of days you've configured.  And, you'll see a message in your 
mfdb log saying:

Provider suggested running again at <suggested date>, but MythFillPeriod 
is <days between runs>.  Next run time will be adjusted to be <new time>.
