[mythtv-users] is mythtv smart enough to do this (overlap/back-to-back) with recordings?

IIRC, hitting 2 8 [select/enter] will jump to 28 minutes into the
recording without "spoiling" it for you.  Then you can back-skip from
there if needed.  Substitute 58 for a 1 hr recording, etc, of course.
