[mythtv-users] Multiple shows to DVD in one shot?

If I didn't have a need to process the cutlist, would I still need
avidemux2?

If the myth .mpg file is recorded using the dvd-special2 profile, are
there any other steps I can skip?

Forgive me for asking so many questions and not using the right terms.
I'm just curious why there isn't one program that reads the file(s) in
and writes them out to a DVD structure for burning.
