[mythtv-users] Foxtel IQ on Avermedia

Hi, I've got myth running as a media library for a while now. I also
have the foxtel IQ box, and have been recording my shows on it. The
problem is that you cannot copy the shows you've recorded from the IQ
box to another computer. As my avermedia card has a S-Video connector I
thought of using it.

I could get input from the IQ box, but the problem is that it's black
and white, and the image is not very clear (I'm not expecting it to be
HD, but normal TV is much better). I used this same card on a previous
installation of myth, and it was fine to watch digital free to air
channels on it.

Any has any ideas?
